If you hadn't noticed already, I am an extremely passionate person especially when it comes to being creative.

As a child, I would forever be using my imagination to create storys first
with toys scattered around my bedroom, then with pencils and paper.

I think I knew somehow that the fun I had creating things would one day
be more then just playtime, and would professionaly be apart of my life.
But it wasn't until I had finished highschool and was working at an
accountants that I realised designing was what I wanted to do.
I don't know whether it was the tedious job of filing or the office
housekeeping that triggered this notion, but by the next year I was
accepted into the Diploma of Graphic Arts in Shepparton.

I chose to study at Tafe as apposed to University as it was local and
allowed me to keep my casual job as a deli chick (I was also stlll
awkward with the whole "moving away from home" concept).
Through the guidance of course coodinator and exceptionally talented
designer Deanne Bramley, I graduated with great feedback and applied
for La Trobe University Bendigo's Bachelor of Graphic Design
(I had by then overcome my insecurities and was anxious to learn
more about the exciting world of design).

Nervous as hell to be interviewed by Geoff Hocking and Paul Morris,
I presented my folio with quivering hands. Upon opening the first
page of my folio, I was congratulated on being accepted into the
second year of the three-year degree!
I celebrated well that night.

Currently being in the last year of the degree, I am eagerly
anticipating graduating and starting a career in the graphic industry.
I have had a good insight into this awesome profession already,
by having experienced real briefs through aquired jobs over the years.
The more experience I gain, the more I feel prepared to enter the
profession under the title : graphic designer.
